-Correct any production and/or plant equipment malfunctions and repair any equipment failures.
-Determine probable source of machine failures and/or other troubles from oral description or from observing machine in operation. Make any necessary adjustments to equipment to obtain desired operating results.
-Disassemble equipment using manufacturer catalogs and assembly or parts drawings as deemed necessary. Identify and replace worn, broken, or otherwise defective parts. Reassemble equipment making any adjustments necessary to attain desired operating results.
-Perform other miscellaneous work such as any necessary changeovers, fitting, filing, drilling, tapping, scraping, grinding, sanding, assembling, etc.
-Perform preventive maintenance and periodic operation checks on assigned equipment as instructed. Cooperate with other maintenance groups to accomplish other maintenance tasks as required. Instruct, train, and/or direct less experienced employees as assigned.
-Perform each phase of the operation in full compliance with all company, state, and/or federal safety and environmental regulations.
-Perform and assume full responsibility for his/her work and service to assure it fully meets the internal and external customer requirements and expectations.
-Notify designated personnel of any irregularities or unusual occurrences in process, materials, or equipment.
-Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area(s) and observe company policies at all times.
Qualifications
Candidate must have a two year technical degree.
Candidate must be able to work any shift including weekends.
Manufacturing experience desired.
