Responsibilities span multiple shifts or multiple functions (ie equipment maintenance AND building/facilities maintenance). Plans, schedules, and supervises work of skilled craft maintenance workers in the inspection, maintenance, repair and servicing of plant equipment and/or building/facilities to prevent disruption of mfg process. Ensures that safety codes and standards are maintained. Inspects work on maintenance projects by employees or private contractors to ensure conformance to specifications.
Education: Bachelor's Degree plus minimum 2 years relevant experience required. Incumbents may have 5-10 years related experience. Experience: Apply advanced technical and working knowledge of the manufacturing process using judgment in making adaptations and modifications where appropriate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
